Nienke Coers (1999) is a Rotterdam, NL based researcher and curator focusing on interactions between photography, migration, and diasporic identity. She writes and edits for various research platforms and magazines, including FOMU Antwerp's Trigger magazine. As a guest researcher, she collaborated on Generasi 3.0 - The Stories We Carry, on view at Fotomuseum Den Haag until March 2026. As a bursary recipient of Vereniging Rembrandt, she currently conducts research into the work of the photographer Eva Besnyö in the collection of Kunstmuseum Den Haag. In 2025, Coers graduated from the University of Utrecht with a research master’s degree in Art History.
