Nienke Coers (1999) is a Rotterdam-based researcher and curator whose work explores the intersections of photography, migration, and diasporic identity. She writes and edits for a range of research platforms and magazines, including Trigger, published by FOMU Antwerp. In 2026, she was selected as the Photoworks Writer in Residence. Recently, Coers worked as assistant curator on Generasi 3.0 - The Stories We Carry, on view at Fotomuseum Den Haag until March 2026. As a bursary recipient of Vereniging Rembrandt, she also conducted research into the work of photographer Eva Besnyƶ in the collection of Kunstmuseum Den Haag, for a large retrospective taking place later this year. Coers holds a research master's degree in Art History from Utrecht University (2025).
